A Little History:
Hedgecock Lumber was started in 1939 by D.C. Montgomery, John Lain, D.S. Hedgecock, and J.S. Hedgecock. D.S. and J.S. Hedgecock then proceeded to start Hedgecock Builders Supply, Inc. on Guilford College Road in Greensboro. Hedgecock Lumber then became Kernersville Lumber. In 1998, James S. Hedgecock had the opportunity to purchase the lumberyard that his father had helped start. On July 3rd, 1998, Hedgecock Lumber opened.
